Touch Art Fair 2013: the world’s first-ever art fair celebrating tactile art

From 17-20 October, Touch Art Fair 2013 takes place in London. Featuring work by international artists, the event seeks to make art accessible by touch to people with sight loss.

Using the slogan "Please Do Touch", the Touch Art Fair is an exciting new venture that celebrates tactile art in what is described as a "sensory fête". By showcasing works designed to be touched and felt, the Fair hopes to allow people with sight loss to engage with them in ways in which they may not normally be able at conventional exhibitions.

The event takes place at 35 Marylebone High Street, London W1U 4QA, and tickets are free
