  • Hillie selected a bespoke confidence building training package for herself and her peers.
  • Meeting the other members of Our View has been an inspiring experience for Hillie. Being around successful disabled adults has had a really positive impact on her.

Creative Junction are already using a structure similar to Our View across their other projects, enhancing young people’s voice and leadership.

In the future they may consider how the individuals could benefit further, by collectively contributing to the direction of an organisation and its work.

Personal experience

“The process of working out how to make Our View accessible to a young person was challenging, but important- and led to a young disabled person being at the heart of Campaign!
Hillie was a constant theme in my thoughts and on my to do list, for example when compiling an ebulletin or thinking about evaluating the project, I would think- ‘what is Hillie’s contribution to this going to be?’ “

Rachel Sears, Project Manager for Campaign!
